The main objective for our robot this season is to be highly capable and flexible. It has a drive base of mecanum wheels to be able to have maximum maneuverability. Height wise, the bot is under fourteen inches and is able to go underneath our alliance bridge in the FTC SkyStone game. It is able to grab stones in either orientation, as well as rotating them around after collection for easier positioning to be placed on the foundation. For lifting power, we have dual cascading lifts that enable us to get six stones high, as well as a capstone. When it comes to manipulating the foundation, we have an encased servo gearbox to apply a clamping force to the lip of the platform.
Autonomous
Our autonomous is highly accommodating as we have the ability to record new programs on the spot. Using algorithms that we put together, we are able to go into a driver controlled environment and do any routine and every action is noted and converted to an autonomous program, where it is saved. This allows us to get complex autonomous runs made in less than a minute without the need of guessing and checking values.
Teleop
In the tele-op period, the primary objective is to score as many stones as possible. Typically, we score six interlocked with a capstone on top.
Endgame
As endgame is a continuation of tele-op, we continue to score stones, with the addition of placing our capstone on top of the highest tower.
